As ARC’s managing director of airline services, Chuck Fischer manages partnerships with key air travel industry stakeholders, including airlines, industry-owned organizations and payment brands. In addition to working closely with ARC’s executive team to shape the organization’s vision for distribution, Chuck is responsible for developing and executing ARC’s payment strategy. Chuck also manages ARC’s relationships with its program partners for Direct Data Solutions (DDS) and the NDC Exchange.
Chuck has been with ARC for more than 30 years and has represented the company on a variety of working groups and committees, including Airlines for America (A4A) and IATA. He also established ARC’s presence in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa, and implemented the company’s Electronic Credit Card Billing (ECCB) system and Associate and Transaction-Only airline participation programs. Prior to joining ARC, Chuck worked for the U.S. Department of the Navy and Piedmont Airlines. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Political Science.
