Eric Barger is responsible for leading ARC’s talent acquisition, employee development, retention and total rewards programs. As a member of ARC’s executive team, Barger spearheads the company’s strategy for cultural change and employee advancement.
Barger came to ARC in September 2016 from Laureate Education, where he served as vice president of talent management. He began his career consulting before moving to Discovery Communications as a manager of talent strategy and organizational development. In the years to follow, he held diverse executive positions focused on human resources at a number of companies, including Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Constellation Energy, McCormick & Company and Agora Publishing.
Barger holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He also earned a master’s and doctorate degree in industrial/organizational psychology from George Mason University.
